If art is a reflection of the society then the poem “What do Women Want” by Kim Addonizio is a perfect point of reference. Women are often stereotyped and downplayed in the society, yet the literary world offers little knowledge on the negative outcomes that comes out of these situations.Kim Addonizio’s poem “What Do Women Want” expresses the stereotype that women have to face in today’s world.
